I've known this guy since before he was born and it's so fun to watch him grow up, see those smiles and hang out with him and his family every couple of months! Here are just a couple...it was really tough to narrow it down.
We've got tons more, mom and dad, I'll let you know when your album is up. We were able to capture quite a few smiles and happy looks, as well as some great group shots! And by the way...I've wanted to do that shot of him in his crib since the second I stepped foot in his nursery before he was born :) It just might be my favorite!
This past week I met a great family of 6 downtown for a session. As the day progressed the weather got stormier and stormier and I was even driving in rain as I headed into town, but when we all arrived, the weather held for us and we got some great images. Enjoy this little sneak peek, I had a great time with you guys and I cannot wait for you to see the rest of the photos. I'll call you later this week!
I love this image as it shows Miss E happily skipping behind the rest of her family, mom with the stroller, older brother C on his skateboard and dad leading the way with one little brother in his arms.
The image above shows one of my favorite things...the connection between parent and child, the youngest boy still holding onto mom's finger with his tiny hand. These are the photos of my own kids that I just adore, as it's a small feat these days to get the youngest son of mine to hold my hand for any reason!
I have many more photos to show, I'll be in touch this week to let you guys know when the rest of the photos are available. Thanks again!
The day school let out my mother and I took the kids downtown to have some fun with a little last day of school urban session. Little did I know that when I picked them up, Claire would look much different than when I dropped her off. The first graders all had a fun day with games and face painting and she was so happy to show off her butterfly face in the photos. I even got some great images of Max and Jack, proving that they do know how to smile and have fun in front of the camera.
I've known this family since we moved to Utah, and the mom (who wouldn't let me take her pic) has always been one of my favorite people...she's the type who makes you want to be a better person, and I love that about her (she's probably rolling her eyes and saying "whatever, Carrie". When I told my mom who the session was for, she instantly remembered who I was talking about from past stories I'd told her. I was so pleased to be able to take photos of this growing family (you may remember the youngest two from a couple posts ago) as they welcomed in their little boy. The photos have been added to your existing album.
These black and whites are from a session that I did a couple months ago of a great family that was so much fun to work with...and they even have three kids the same ages as mine, not something I see everyday!
It seems like Typepad is doing some extra sharpening to my photos when I put them in my posts...please excuse :)
